Tuesday February 17th 2026 at 19:30-22:00 - Iceland in Winter (South) – Gordon Watson 

Iceland in winter is a raw and unforgettable experience. The photographic journey Gordon Watson will present to us on February 17th begins in Reykjavík, the world’s most northerly capital city, before taking in the famous Golden Circle of Gullfoss and Geysir. From there, he will take us along the south coast, visiting some of the finest locations Iceland has to offer. The images will showcase thunderous waterfalls, vast glaciers and surreal black sand beaches, with perhaps a glimpse of the aurora dancing above the landscape.
Gordon is an amateur photographer from Lytham St Annes Photographic Society who has visited Iceland on four separate occasions. A keen competition photographer, he holds the ABPE, DPAGB, EFIAP/b and PPSA distinctions, with several of tonight's images contributing towards those awards.
